Yummy Crochet Chocolates

For me, Christmas is one of the sweetest times of the year, so full of yummy things....so, inspired by all this sweeteness that's all around, I decided to crochet some chocolates in three different versions: dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate and I decorated them with some glittery and colourful decorations. Hope you enjoy them!

2010 XMAS decorations (2)

Quedan muy poquitos días para Navidad y seguimos creando adornos para nuestro árbol. Este año, una idea sencilla y efectiva a la vez: unas vistosas flores de ganchillo hechas a partir de unos círculos de plástico que encontraréis en las mercerías y con las que también podréis sorprender con una bonita guirnalda... En una tarde podéis hacer un montón!. Os recomiendo utilizar hilo de algodón o lana no demasiado grueso para que el contorno de la flor quede más definido.

Aquí teneis el patrón:
1 - Hacer 42 p.b dentro del anillo de plástico y unir (lo importante es que sea múltiplo de 7 el número final de puntos. Podeis ir haciendo puntos hasta que el anillo quede cubierto por el hilo).
2 - 3 cad. 42 p.a (un punto alto en cada punto bajo de la primera vuelta). Unir
3 - Para hacer la forma del pétalo: [Saltar 2 puntos, 7 p.a en el siguiente punto, saltar 2 puntos y unir en el siguiente punto]. Repetir 5 veces más para conseguir 6 pétalos.

Hacer 25 puntos de cadeneta y unir a la flor para poder colgarla del árbol.

Here you are the pattern:
1 - 42 sc into the plastic ring . Sl st
2 - Ch 3. 42dc. Sl st
3 - To make the petals: [Skip 2 st, 7dc in next st, skip 2 st, sl st in next dc]. FO. Repeat 5 more times (you'll have six petals at the end).

Make Ch 25 to hang the flower to your Christmas tree.

2010 XMAS decorations (1)

Hello darlings! It's just 13 days left to Christmas and, for me, this is a very intensive crocheting time of the year. I don't know why but I'm spending lots of hours these days crocheting Christmas decorations for the tree as well as little presents for friends and relatives. Can't wait to show you some of this year's little crochety decorations, so here they are...

Crochet Bracelets

Hi! Christmas is just around the corner and I'm starting thinking about some nice and crochety objects to give to friends and relatives, like this yarn bracelets. They're very easy to make. You just need some yarn and some plastic bracelets and you just have to wrap the bracelets around with the yarn and the hook making sc all around very tightly. Just try and you'll see how a cold and standard plastic bracelet turns into a wooly, warm, unique and cool one!!
