Poisson Galet
My holidays in Brittany have been an amazing source of inspiration when trying to make new crochet projects related to the sea. There, most beaches are rocky and full of round stones, "galets" in French. Although uncomfortable to stretch with a towel over them, I love to catch them, touch them ... it's so relaxing!. Natural objects, simple, minimalist, to which the sea have given their shape and texture and that made me think about what could be done with them by incorporating the art of crochet. After thinking and seeking information through Internet, I decided to turn these little "galets" in fishes "possions". That's the way my Poisson Galet was born. This one, in one of my favorite colors: dark blue. Besides being a very nice little fish, I think it evokes the sea, the beach, the summer....Brittany in fact!
